TL;DR
🛡 YOUR AUDIO IS NEVER UPLOADED ANYWHERE
All processing happens locally in your browser using the Web Audio API.
No server ever sees your audio files. Period.
HOW IT WORKS
Every tool on music.furybee.org operates 100% client-side using JavaScript and the Web Audio API. When you visualize, analyze BPM, inspect metadata, master, trim, merge, normalize, or generate tones:
- Your audio files are loaded directly into your browser’s memory
- All processing happens on your CPU, in your browser
- Nothing is sent to our server or any third party
- Nothing is stored, logged, or cached server-side
- When you close the tab, your audio is gone from memory
The only thing our server delivers is the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code for the tools themselves. Your actual audio data stays on your device at all times.
MICROPHONE ACCESS
The Audio Visualizer tool optionally supports microphone input for real-time visualization. This feature:
- Requires your explicit permission (browser permission prompt)
- Is entirely optional — all other tools work without microphone access
- Does not record any audio
- Does not send microphone data anywhere
- Uses the audio stream only for real-time visualization in your browser
- Stops immediately when you close the tab or click “Stop Microphone”
DATA WE COLLECT
None. Zero. Zilch.
We collect no personal data of any kind.
COOKIES & TRACKING
We use:
- 🚫 No cookies
- 🚫 No analytics (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, nothing)
- 🚫 No tracking pixels
- 🚫 No fingerprinting
- 🚫 No advertising

EXTERNAL RESOURCES
- Fonts — JetBrains Mono is self-hosted on our server. No external font services.
- No CDNs — All assets are served from our own infrastructure.
No tool on this site makes any external network request with your data.
SERVER LOGS
Our server may log standard HTTP access data (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) for operational purposes. These logs are not correlated with any user identity and are automatically rotated.
VERIFY IT YOURSELF
Don’t trust us? You don’t have to:
- Open your browser’s Developer Tools (F12)
- Go to the Network tab
- Load and process an audio file
- Watch: zero outgoing requests with your audio data
What you see is what you get. The source code of every tool is right there in your browser.
